"everybody" because.. if like a person (italian.. fan..) talks about like the French all the Zidane fans get all mad and start talking crap about Mattzi,, and the same happens with the Italians..

Well, he is a very good footballer. But honestly, I think Cristiano Ronaldo is much much more of a person to idolize... and dream about *sigh*

Hey! Tats simple. Zidane is not only a good player but a person with true personality. He can come nowhere near that materazzi. All the italian fans have no clue what humanity is!

i think most of them [those who choose Zidane as their idol] are kids...
personally, i think he is a very good example for today's kids [especially those who love football so much].. he even apologize personally in public when that 'headbutt' incident happened.
he admits his mistake, he fights for what he believes in and he even plays very well in every games..
what more can u ask from a footballer?

I think it is because Zizou is one of the best football players that ever walked on Earth,regardless of his headbutts..he is a calm and patient one,that's why French fans get mad when people say something bad about Zizou,because French fans know that Zizou is actually a good guy..and Zizou also apologized for his headbutt,which is the right thing to do..somehow,let's not talk about him anymore,he is retired..give him a break..

Oh I don't understand why all french fans love only Zidane?
There are so many talent players in this team(of course not so cool like Italy!)
I love Fabio Cannavaro and I have more reasons than only "cuz he is hot and bla bla bla",he is awesome in all aspects!
All our soccer players are very talent!:0

If you take away that incident during the WC then you will understand.
He's a legand. One of the greatest footballers ever. People seem to forget b/c of the damn headbutt. It's really sad. He should be known b/c he's a skillful player, not b/c of anything negative.

Sorry, Zidane is not everybody's idol but he definetely is mine. I love the way he plays; to watch him simply touch a ball is inspirational. He is simply magical!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
