I have to say my choice for DRUG STORE cosmetics is Almay. I used them for years. Love the One Coat Mascara, it is the greatest. However, I will tell you, the best make up to find is Mary Kay. It may seem expensive, but it lasts for a very long time. Takes small amounts to get the same results as using more of the others. Besides, it feels like you aren't wearing anything on your face at all. You can find a Mary Kay Consultant and book a "Make-Up Party" and "test-drive" the colors before you buy them. They begin with the cleansers and take you through the full make-over. Check it out.

i saw something on t.v. once where there was this make up artist for famous people did a makeover on just some regular girl..then asked if she could tell which side of her face was made up with expensive department store stuff and which was just Walgreen's type of stuff. no one could tell the difference, not even her. they say almost all makeup has the same type of stuff in it, just try a few differ ant things and find what you like the best for your skin type. Maybelle has good foundation and mascera (the pink and green one), but i have been using makeup for a long time and just experimented with stuff. also try looking up free samples on the web, a lot of companies will send out little samples you can try before you buy. have fun..

Styli-style! All the way. Lasts forever, and the eye pencils work on even my deep set eyes! Revlon if you can't find the other.

Cover girl great compacts and everything they have is good.loreal nail polish and lip gloss/sticks, wet and wild eye pencils, mascara loreal or maybelline.
