What are you wanting to clean - the screen - the hard drive - the keyboard?
Screens you have to be very careful. I have used a spray and rag from Monster Cables but I would read the manual to see if that is acceptable for your laptop. If it is a keyboard, you can try a can of compressed air to get some of the dirt/grime out of there. If you spilled a soda or juice then you have a bigger problem. Some laptops you can actually take the keys off and wipe them off and then put them back on, but it is very time consuming and difficult to get them back on. Sometimes you will be able to use a damp cloth to clean the keys. If it is your harddrive that you are wanting to clean, then I suggest a full disk reformat but you will need to back up any of your data before doing that.

they've got laptop sprays for cleaning in most stores where u can get other cleaning agents.but if u cant get that u could use a damp piece of foam,but make sure it doesnt drip water into the laptop's board

Compressed air. Spray the keyboard, and in the intake vents for the fan. Short of taking it apart that's all you can do.
