they arrange their stores the same as the last time I did acid. Only someone tripping would put hand tools in the same aisle as hand lotions, turn to your left and get asprin, pivot and get hamster treats.bicycle tires facing throw rugs, the list is endless.they have to be deliberatly trying to stage dissimular items facing each other instead of starting in the next aisle. And all you walmart loving zombies would never put up with that as a format on an internet browser now would you.

You miserable thing .
This is what u don't like abt WallMart ?
It 's a capitalist thing that eats the little stores . There should be small stores with hard working people .
Places where u can go and be happy to meet the familiar faces .
Like Hardware seller who actually knows what kind of tools u need .Not someone who doesn't know anything .

Because they don't know how to organize it. If we were looking at i from a myers briggs perspective it was organized by a an iNtuitive Perciever. Look at the difference between wal mart and a grocery store int he organization. an Sesning Judger probably organized the first grocery store and the others probably followed suit. You won't find a wal mart like that. Sam Walton is probably an NP, or at least one of his head honchos is. Whoever decided how everything should be placed.

Hmm, maybe the Wal-mart you go to is run by a stoner.

I used to work at a Wal-mart, and all the areas of the store at that time, were all arranged quite neatly. Hand lotions are no where near hand tools. Where's this Wal-mart anyhow?

I read an news story once about beer and diapers at convenience stores. Apparently, if a man is sent to get diapers at a convenience store he is likely to purchase beer if it is also placed nearby. Product placement must be part science, part art.

They aren't doing it because they are on acid - they are doing it because they track trends in the store. They put things that people tend to buy in the same general area, in order to make it convenient and to encourage buying.

They most likely don't have enough space in the store. Sometimes they have to swish aisles together to get everything to fit.

Compulsive shoppers love it though. It ALL means that the consumer buys more because we have to spend 5x as long looking for the stuff we came to buy that we pick up this or that because we see it along the way.

You Yanks seem to hate Walmart.
I can't remember ever seeing anything nice written about them.

However, over here in England, they own a chain called Asda.
Word is getting around that their products are of better quality than the others.
Their own brand bread and cakes are excellent.
I am more than happy to buy any of their own brand labels.

Is it jealousy that makes them the subject of hate in America?
I didn't think Americans were that type of person.
