The best way to find this out for yourself would be to look the words up in a dictionary. Have you seen thefreedictionary.com?
If you look up "biography" you see:
"An account of a person's life written, composed, or produced by another"
Whereas for "autobiography" you'll see:
"The biography of a person written by that person".
So the difference is all about who wrote it.

A biography is the story of someone's life told by another person. An autobiography is the story of someone's life told by the person him/herself. Thus if someone wrote a book telling the story of my life, that would be a BIOGRAPHY. If I wrote the book telling the story of my own life, that would be an AUTOBIOGRAPHY.

A biography is a story about a person written by someone other than that person. An autobiography is a story written about a person written by the person it is written about.
