What's the best way to do it? Should I hide my tv?

There was a time when I use to hear myself say again and again, "I don't have time to ... " So I decided to stop watching TV and it was amazing how much time I had. It worked. My life is far more enriched, as I now spend that spare time reading and learning, and my house is much cleaner, because I now have the time. One of the most successful decisions I've ever made. And you know what? I don't miss it. Okay, so I keep up with my soaps on line. But it only takes seconds to read the daily updates as opposed to the three hours it took to watch them.

Sure, It changes your life for the better! Of course it always depends on the individual!

I've always been a nature buff, I got more into and had a wonderful time. I also love people, so I became more active with
people. There are many folks you can help! There are just so many things, I think it would be impossible to list them all.

I have never gotten back into TV as I once was! There are so many wonderful things out there to explore and enjoy!

Actually, no I haven't to tell you the truth. But my tv once broke down for a week, and I SURVIVED! For that one week, I went outside and I played my favorite sports. I actually had more fun. Earlier I used to watch 6 hours of tv. But now, I watch only 4. Also, my science teacher told me in 6th grade that watching tv causes cancer. So I wouldn't want to risk my life for a couple of shows. That week I had some good family time together. My house wasn't as noisy.

We don't get any channels on our tv. We only have movies. I watch very little tv, and I have a lot more time for other things like reading and interacting with people.
