Seriously: have you ever already been in contact with extraterrestrials beings?

There have been several instances in many mythologies around the world, for characters depicted with halo around the head, horns on head, smoke in vehicles they used, flying dragons with fire etc., i can only think on Eric van Daniken's theory in his book "Chariots of the Gods" where in he questions about civilisation being only to a level of making pots and some visitations are from other planets with their spacesuits, how the potter would have described that visitor? Will he not depict him more than 2 hands and put the oxygen connecting pipes also as hand, the light on the helmet would have been shown as halo etc., So visitations from other planets/galaxies cannot be ruled out with our limited progress in science until now.

Well it was last year. A craft came down over our house. We went out to see what it was. A creature got out of a funny looking ship. He looked a lot like a turkey. We didn't want to take any chances, so we killed it and ate it for Thanksgiving dinner! It tasted like chicken!
