My daughter is drooling and she gnaws on my hand. Could she be teething already?

Maybe she'll develop more early than some other babies. But she's probably just experiancing new things like taste and texture with her taste buds and mouth.

It is not usual for a new born to start teething already at that age ,but I have heard of babies being born with a few teeth already,so it could be possible, but my guess is she is probably just hungrey and time to up the ounces on her formula at least another ounce and a half. You will find out soon enough if a little tooth pops thru with a lot of crying in the mean time.

Absolutely she could. My daughter had her two lower front teeth at 8 weeks and the Dr was stunned. My best friend at the time was a pediatric dental assistant and she said it happens infrequently that early, but it does happen. She said chalk it up to good prenatal care and lots of calcium during the pregnancy. Of course, from then out breastfeeding was a nightmare. LOL

Is it possible, sure -- but more than likely she's just stimulating the saliva glands in her mouth by putting her hands and other items in it. This is what's causing the drool. Mostly likely teething won't start fo a while.

Could be. My friend's daughters each had 2 teeth when they were born.
