Don't confuse avarice with recognising and respecting the importance of money. I think it's perfectly normal to worry about and want money to cover things you need like food, shelter and money for luxuries like travel, or education...if that's avarice then that's how I justify it, but I think it's just common sense, as long as it's not the be all and end all of your existence.

I would say that I definitely do not have an "insatiable greed for riches; inordinate, miserly desire to gain and hoard wealth" so I have no reason to justify it.
There are limits to what I would do for money and while money is an important aspect of anyone's life, it is definitely not the most important this in MY life.

In my years of living I find advice as something given an very seldom accepted for normally a question asked already has an expected answer and if it's not what someone wants to hear they ask someone else. After all it's only advice which can either be accepted or rejected. But if advice is not offered and something bad comes of it well then it gets hard to live with.

I don't justify them. Avarice isn't a helpful personality trait as far as I'm concerned, so I try to correct my behavior concerning it.

insatiable greed for riches; inordinate, miserly desire to gain and hoard wealth.
Because it is not true that the world can live off love. When you're grocery shopping, can you tell the cashier that, "I'll pay all these with my love to you."?
Money is not the root of all evil, the love of money is.
