I have no idea what that c is, so i might be overlooking something.

When x approaches 0, 4-x^2 approaches 4, as does 4+x^2. Thus, a f(x) which is between 4-x^2 and 4+x^2 for an interval including 0 has a limit of 0 at 4 by the squeeze (or sandwich) theorem.
