Well, if you can do a % conversion...80% is usually the base line for scholarships...meaning, you'll get a small scholarship.
85-90% (B+-A-) and SAT 1700+ will usually get you $1000-3000 dollars.
90-95% (4.0? A's), SAT 1950+ like $3000-8000 dollars
95%+ (4.0 +) SAT 2250+ $8000-32000
100% SAT 2400 ...%8000-100,000

Every school and scholarship has different criteria. For some, GPA isn't specified at all, and the scholarships go to those with the best records or the greatest need. To get into the HOPE program in GA, you have to be a resident who follows the laws and is registered in an accepted program. To KEEP the HOPE scholarship, though, you do have to maintain "satisfactory progress" toward a degree, which means passing enough courses to move forward on schedule and keeping a certain GPA which varied each year. According to the website, you only need a 1.7 as a freshman, but then it starts to go up each year.

depends on the school
for many schools, GPA is not as important as ACT or SAT scores
for some schools both GPA and test scores are important
some schools (like Georgia Tech probably) are very selective and you have to have good numbers just to get in, and even better ones to get a scholarship
other schools will not be nearly so competitive
