One minute Muslims are acting all peaceful, blessing everyone, talking all calmly and quietly.
Then someone publishes some silly cartoon of Muhammed or the Pope just happens to read from an old manuscript of a former Popes opinion and immediately the Turbins fly!
Genesis: 16:11-12
"The angel of the Lord said to her further, Behold' you are with child, And you shall bear a son; And you shall call his name Ishmael,Because the Lord has given heed to your affliction.
And he will be a wild donkey of a man, His hand will be against everyone, And everyone,s hand will be against him;
And he will live to the east of his brothers."

You call it bi-polar and I call it balance
u see we were not instructed to turn the other cheek and when it comes to our religion there would be zero tolerance
No one is allowed to mock Islam while we draw breath
We r peaceful in the sense that we never offend anyone but when someone antagonizes Islam we have no choice
On the personal level the Qura'an leaves us to choose between (deliver the deterrent response) and (forget and forgive) and tells us that option #2 is the better one
I don't think the pope was stirring 'stuff' but your holy man needed to be mindful of all possible political consequences of everything he does
And has the world been so peaceful to us anyway??
I don't think so

I mean do u people have any material evidence to who did the 9/11 thing? Why don't u start blaming yourselves for being so clueless instead of offending Muslims at random?

What about Christians? I mean one minute they're all peace and love and family values, the next they're cutting programs for children and low-income families! Then they're going on about love and peace and being kind to one another, and then invading a foreign country and talking publicly about hating Muslims! Perhaps both need some lithium...

Most do not.
What you and most people do not realize is that the pope indeed got the very result he intended in,,,, that is to inflame hostilities ,thereby like other right wing extremest on all sides of the geopolitical,religious, and Financial markets can justify there own twisted beliefs...ironic the only winners here are the Financial ones. When you realize the implications behind what people in power say,do .and advocate you are also looking at their Financial backers.

It is not appropriate to give muslims a blanket medical excuse such as being bipolar. The behavior, violence, and support of spreading the relgion "by the sword" is a choice. It must be recognized for what it is.
