Right now I'm working in Willemstad, Curaçao, Netherlands Antilles. Despite the fact that one of the largest oil refineries in the Western Hemisphere is located less than 1/2 kilometer from where I'm sitting, gas here is over $5 US/gallon.

DFW, TX $2.29 Wow, amazing how some people feel that gas is "cheap stuff", by comparison to a few months ago, sure. It's still way too much.
