The Eagles let the Giants come back from a 24-7 deficit after halftime I believe it what the Eagle did to lose not what the Giants did to win that game.

Rod Hood was out for a lot of the second half. That really hurt.

The Eagles defense was great through three quarters, the Giants only had 101 total yards near the end of the third. Nothing happened to the Eagles' defense, the Giants superior talent and offensive firepower simply woke up and beat the crap out of the Eagles from the fourth quarter on.

The Eagles did not "let" the Giants come back. The Giants are just a better team. The G-Men played very badly through three quarters, THAT'S why they fell behind. When the Giants finally played to their potential, everyone saw who was the better team. Quit your crying.

I have no idea. I was at the game. It was so exciting to watch the 1st half.
I love the Eagles, but I do not think the Giants were as bad as they were in the 1st half. I wass surprised with how bad they were playing. I think during the 2nd half, the Eagles played like the Giants did in the 1st. They could not get anything done right. It was really upsetting.

As a "Birds" fan, I'm still in shock and mini-depression. Not quite on suicide watch, but you get the idea.

It was partly a letdown on both sides of the ball. The Birds offense did not do much after they built the 24-7 lead. The Giants adjusted and gave Manning better protection in the second half. They also took advantage of a bit of a prevent defense at times, and occasional single coverage on Burress (matched with much shorter backup corners at times).

The fluky fumble recovery in the end zone after Dawkins knocked the ball out of Burress' hands and the Birds didn't fall on it, made the game 24-14 and gave them hope. I think the Giants just seized the momentum, made a few big plays, and also had "Lady Luck" smiling on them when it counted.

This one hurt big time!

McNabb thought he had the game sewn up, and they just got plain old cocky. so, let the mistakes begin.
