Your best choice would be the new iPod, because psp's can only play music from a memorystick, which costs about $40 per gigabyte. The iPod has a lot more storage capacity and plus it works perfectly* with the itunes music store. The PSP is great for playing games but its a little too big and i believe Sony is creating a better model with the same screen resolution, smaller size and more comfartability.

Depends...if u already have some kind of mp3 player or a cell phone get the psp but if u dont hv any music player then u should probably get the ipod unless u rly luv games, but i hv a psp and its pretty sweet it has awesome games plus u can watch movie and have music and go onto the internet. i would say save up your money and get both...its worth it the psp and the 8 gb ipod nanos r the same price except ud probly want to get a memory card for the psp but i hv both and use both all the time so i would say get both

get the psp....
you can listen to music anywhere.....on the radio...on tv etc.
get the psp , that way not only you but also your friends will have a great time. You can even turn songs on while playing the game, but you can't play any game when you have an ipod ....just listen to music or watch videos ... that's all.
The negative thing about getting a psp is that you can't take it anywhere...but hey it's worth it.
Man now I want to buy a psp.

The psp isnt too big. but the it only works with memory cards. basically its 250 for the psp and about 150 for a 2gb memory card and the ipod is like 300 for an 8gb. so you decide which is better.

iPod!!! DEFINITELY AND ABSOLUTELY! The PSP is just a waste of money. You have real game systems for that, okay? Get the iPod because it's really convenient, it'll save you from boredom, and you can actually do it in class... a lot of teachers at my school permit students to listen to music whenever we're working or if there's free time. I myself have an iPod mini, but I don't recommend you buying a nano because that really doesn't hold enough stuff (in my opinion), so either go with the regular or mini, and if they have packages or something, like it comes with extra gear, then go for it (if you're athletic... you can go running with your iPod because the extra stuff includes a case and a strap for your arm).

Get the PSP for god's sake!
Its games ROCKS!!, and you can play movies and concerts on that!! what else would one wish for?

And after enjoying it for like 3 months or smth, you will have saved enough boxes to choose between an ipod, flash mp3 or mp4 player! and so.. two birds with one stone! ;))
