well i think that you should for 21 years my mum hid me from my father for years i felt as thought there was a part of me missing something that i need to know i chased down my dad and when i met him i felt at peace with myself the more you hide her from her father the harder it will be for her to adjust when she wants to. Be the better person and talk to him first find out how he feels about being a father figure and ask if he would like something to do with his daughter tell him its for her and that she will need to know someday down the track what you are feeling is normal bUT the best thing to do is not to ut him down and explain when she gets older what happened between you and him but please for her give a go if he doe sent want to then you can tell her that you did try.

Maybe you could contact him to let him know his daughter wants to meet him. Your daughter has let you know she wants to meet him so do all you can to help her. If you are confused, just think how your daughter feels. I always put myself in the other persons shoes. It helps me know what they are feeling. I think you will feel better knowing you did all you could to help her. God bless you all.

It sounds like you are using your daughter as an excuse to find this creep

I think you should pursue looking for your child's father. She deserves knowing her dad, at least meeting him once.
