what was in an old pirate tresure chest? I need this info. for a project.?

aye me matey......well lets see, it all depended on where we wasa saliing, maybe there was a ship loaded with gold doblins or jewels...we really didnt know till we boarded her, and slew the crew and sank the ship....ye know what walk to plank means eh? well after we had so much gold and jewlels we would take a chest, pile it high and find an island where to bury it....trouble is...(scratching head) a good portion of the time, me forgots where i buried it...so there is a good chance there are some of me treasures still bureid in the islands....so me hopes you got yer answear me pirate friend...smiles....gold, jewels, and coins...thats it.....guns and other weapons were confistated and used no sense in burying them....in a passing note...a lot of times some of the lesser pirates were slew as not to go back and steal me gold..........arrrggghhhhhhhhhhhh lol
