Both my kids suffer with it and i tend to stay away from the creams the Dr gives .. this is what i do and it helps
1. Bath them in a warm bath to which you add camomile tea ( a
tea bag is good)
2. let them soak in the bath don't use any soap it will help to stop
the itching and cools the skin (even you can use it when you
feel hot)
3. don't use a towel to dry them but use a hair direr on a cool
setting this will make the skin soft
4. rub in some good cream something like E45
5. within a week or so you should see an improvement

Yes, 100% pure coconut oil. I suggest the brand called 'Nui' (pronounced new) You can get it at any good health food store. It is expensive however I have tried all the others, to no effect. This particular coconut oil has at least a twelve mark tick list, and it passes them all with flying colours. This stuff is excellent, I use it on elderly peoples skins in the nursing home with terrific results. Nui has antibiotic properties, you will not look back.

Elderflower ointment worked for my mother who had suffered for 60 years. You should be able to find a recipe. I made it myself from a recipe in an old book using freshly picked Elder flowers and lard.

Salt or sugar mixed with olive oil for a scrub.
Sounds harsh, but is actually very effective.
