It is the same HDD, i didnt take the one with windows out BUT it is reading 2 gigs instead of 4 why is this?

THE WINDOWS DRIVE IS AN 80 GIGGER!!!!!!!!!! I had an old non-working peice of crap computer so i rigged it!!!!!!!!

whats up with the age, its no great feat to do it at 12, relax.
anyways i think you have a Jumper conflict.
if you see on both drives you will notice a set of pins with one or 2 connector caps on it.
some where on the sticker you will notice a jumper configuration
make sure that your primary HDD (the one with the OS, i am assuming the new one) is set to PRIMARY MASTER
the second one can be set to anything, but i prefer Secondary Master or Primary slave.
this should fix it, also ensure both are on the same file system NTFS or FAT32

First of all, why the need to mention your age or account and how would we know your mother??? Anyway... you obviously installed it wrong, have the pins set wrong... which rly woun't do anything so thats prolly not it, but it could jst b ur computer, and r u talking about total copacity or wats left??? Isn't it possible that u put stuff on it and the space left went from 4 gigs 2 2gig?? USE UR HEAD!!!!

Does your computer have enough room inside to support 2 HDD's? If so, put your 4 GIG in a different spot and use it as your 2nd HDD that way you have a total of 6 GIG's.

it means uv replaced ur 4 gig drive with a 2 gig drive. try installing a HDD thats higher than the previous, means more space.
