Only if you think so...

Not safer just the sheeples are now more biddable in many ways it achieved the result the government wanted.

Americans don't understand their own denial

I expect the hysterical cries of "The Muslims are coming! The Muslims are coming!" Have you learned nothing about the world? Can you not see the obvious manipulations of the U.S.-U.K. intelligence community in these bogus "terror alerts"?

Gee, whadda ya know, it's time for a midterm election and George Bush has a 30% approval rating --- and here come the Muslim hordes because they "hate our freedoms"!

Grow up. The American government spends over $500 billion a year on defense, over $60 billion a year on intelligence. That's more than the rest of the world combined. That sound you hear is not a billion Muslims strapping bombs to their chests. That sound you hear is the American military-intelligence complex prodding the stupid citizens who pay for it. They've got plans for martial law in America, and you people are prattling on about Islamofascism.

The first 9/11 was an inside job. The next one -- probably in the next two months, just in time for the elections -- will also be made in America. Open your eyes and see the real enemy.

I would guess that we are less safe.
Firstly, the original problem of 9/11 has not been addressed.
And that is the problem that the government murdered 3000 citizens. The same governm, ent is still in power, and is therefore very likely to do the same sort of thing again when it wants another war.

Secondly, many Muslims have been antagonised beyond believe by lies stemming from the 9/11 Commission report, and it is quite possible that they might now be keen for revenge, whereas before they were quite pacifist.

I know many don't agree with my first point, yet, but eventually you probably will. Just consider again the government's conspiracy theory.

The government conspiracy theory is that 19 Arabs, who had been under surveillance, conspired together, walked onto four commercial aircraft without being detected, and without having their names appear on a passenger list. Then that they could overcome over 250 people with plastic box-cutters. And not only that, but with no previous experience of flying large jets, they could navigate from 30,000 feet and hit three out of four targets precisely, meantime conducting flying manoeuvres that fighter pilots would find difficult. Then, the amazing thing is that 7 of them survived the events and are known to be alive today.
Also for the first time ever in history, three, not two, but three steel framed buildings collapsed as a result of fire which could not possibly have burned hot enough to melt steel, and caused the buildings not to topple over, as one might expect, or to fall a little at a time, but to fall within their own footprint at the speed of gravity. And one of those buildings (WTC7) was not even hit by a plane.
Not only that, but the four aircraft disappeared completely without a trace of their 16 large engines, or any of the black boxes. This has also never before happened in history.

This theory is so amazingly full of holes that it is impossible for any sane thinking person to believe, yet that is what the official 9/11 commission report.says.

"We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false."
-- William Casey, CIA Director (from first staff meeting, 1981)

All truth passes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Second, it is violently opposed. Third, it is accepted as being self-evident.

I'm going to make the assumption that;" are we safer from terrorist attacks now than we where before the 9/11 attacks" on U.S. soil?
to answer a question with a question; when was, in your recollection, the last time we had a terrorist attack on U.S. soil since 9/11? answer: zero, threats:many. please remember this,
for the rest of your life, it will help you get through it,
"believe nothing of what you hear, and only half of what you see".
meaning: form your own opinions through careful research done on your own and try and keep an open mind and available to all options.

We are definitely taking more precautions then before, but whether they're well directed, and whether they're in the right areas. Also, whether Bush's oh-so-professional-and-educated behavior and negotiation skills have improved or worsened the situation can be disputed.
It would be my guess that no, we're not safer from them, because I think Bush has increased motive for it.

I don't think anybody can be sure if we're safer or not. One alarming trend is sharp spike in suicide/IED bombing in Afghan now. Very likely exported from Iraq fall out. You can be sure techniques used in Iraq now may some day reach here.

In some aspects, with us being more alert and wary of our weaknesses, yes.
But in a more important way, we are vulnerable, because:
We are divided.
If we were actually drawn together instead of being pulled apart as we are now, we would be alot stronger and safer as a nation.

Ask Bush. He's the one who set up 9/11, along with his Saudi associates.

I believe we are taking more precautions than we were and we are more vigilant. So I would have to say yes. Also we haven't had any attacks either since then. does that mean the terrorist are not going to try? I am fully confident that they are doing their level best trying to murder as many of us as they can.
