How do you find density, what is its formula, ramifications and units?

Well it all depends on what ur asked and what ur given.....but generally density is defined as the amount of matter packed in a substance
The Formula is: Density = mass/ volume

Density is Mass divided by Volume

the units are:
solids: g/cm^3
liquids: g/mL

density=mass/volume
the answer's unit is g/ml for liquids and g/cm3 for solids.
