kimberly i have a friends g/f live with us and the way u have to look at it is like this...everyone fights and argues...now if u let it be known and take ur problems out in the open to where ur new roomate can hear everything, then that could be a problem....leave ur arguments to ur privacy and things will be ok...o and keep ur sex down too...

I have a friend living with my bf and i. Sometimes ppl just need thier privacy and when someone else is around all the time it tends to be a bother, and cause a few fights. Yes I do believe it hurts a relationship, in one way or another.

Trust is EVERYTHING in a relationship. If you aren't comfortable with some of his friends or the way he acts then you should let go. However, you could always try and get some alone time with him and show him why you're his GIRLFRIEND in the first place. He may flirt with those so called, "prettier girls" but remember, he's with you for a reason. <3 You have a right to be suspicious of them. Imagine if you had some RIDICULOUSLY HOT guy friends. (heh, that might be a good way to prove your point! ;)

I would never do that. It is too strange to even consider. There is a movie out about this very thing. If I KNEW that his friend was staying 1 or 2 days, maybe I would consider it. Even then,be careful. It's funny how 2 days can become 2 weeks.
To be honest, I would not live with a man unless we were married. That seems the best way...at least to me. Good luck!

you have to let them know when they can and can not be home. i don't know you nor your bf. so i don't know how intimate you are but all couples have their together time so maybe you can make it more scheduled like every Friday night wens day night, midday whenever you choose that time to be you have to let your boyfriends friend understand that between those times not to be home, tell him to go to a bar, library, restaurant but not to be their. the bad part is most couples don't want to have a restricted time they wanna feel intimate when ever the mood is right not when the clock says so, but if you are going to allow your bf friend stay with you guys i really suggest you do this

please pick me as best answer.

If he just needs a place to stay for a week or two, that's fine. If you'd be having him live there for a longer time... I'd be very, very reluctant to allow that. Not necessarily because you'd fight all the time (I have no idea whether that's true or not), but because it's really tough to have no privacy.

Yes, Me and My husband were actually getting married in a month when it happened. Good will come out long as the best friend has a steady job and helps out in the household. His friend respects our space and make sure he's only here when he wakes up and when he's going to sleep.

Should not make a difference but it always does. I am 38 years old and I have seen this happen a hundred times. Have his friend go elsewhere so you can all remain friends.
