Homecoming?

This year im on the homecoming court as a sophmore. What do I wear without being to formal like the seniors, and not casual like the other students. This event will be at a football game. No dresses.

Wow, why can't you wear a dress? In my opinion if your're on the homecoming court no matter what year you are, you should feel honored and wear a beautiful gown too. Maybe something in your school colors?

Pants: Cute denim jeans.

Shoes: Get a semi-pointy toe, high heel shoe. Not too high though. They look great with denim jeans, and come in super cute colors.

Top: Get a lacy tank top that has a few sparkles or sequins. Any cute, fun color would work. Then, put an adorable cropped sweater overtop. Like, the ones that have a ribbon to tie it shut.

Hair: If it's long enough, curl it.

Jewelry: Dont go too over the top. Maybe a pearl necklace with a few bangles on a wrist.

Congratulations on making court! I think that you should go completly classic for something like this. I mean when you look back at the pics with your kids, you dont want to have any fads that make you look bad on. So what about plain kaki chinos with a bright, cute sweater. Maybe a v-neck with stripes on it. At my school we wear tiaras, which are givin to you the day before the game and your can wear them to school, but are required to wear them to the game. What you could do is go to Paul Mitchells beauty school (or another beauty school like it) and for less than 15 dollars, get an updo that will look great with what you are wearing and in the pics. Good luck...and keep in mind what the boy is wearing, just so you dont clash.

Maybe perhaps a lovely skirt that may go with a blouse. Or a fashionable pants that go with a colorful shirt.
