It's a warm setting...it's in degrees celcius.
You cannot get 40F water in your washing machine...and nobody's ever going to recommend adding ice. Think about it...water freezes at 32F.
40C is 104F (about jacuzzi temp)

30 degrees is cold....
40 is warm...
60 is hot...
90 is almost boiling..
In celcius degrees your body temperature is 37, so 40 is close to that. Depends on your washing machine, but I think the setting should be warm.

40 degrees what, is it C or F... 40 degrees C is 104 F which is the temp of most hot tubs so I would say prob warm.
