He recieved no penalty or negative feedback for his words. Is there anyone whom cannot see the double standards in race relations in this country? ?There were actually people clapping at his comments. What would have happened if this was a white man saying the same things about blacks? hmmm

Wow that is one of the most ignorant things I've ever heard. It sickened me to watch.

I know how he isn't in jail, it's for the same reason white supremacists aren't, freedom of speech.

No matter who it's coming from it's wrong and disgusting to hear. A previous responder said that black people don't recognize reverse descrimination. I think partially that's true. I think giving that man the right the speak on television is negligent.

However it would be just as ignorant to generalize and say that all black people think this way or feel this way. The injected comments were almost as bad as the speech.

I definitely think it's racist, but I don't think he should be in jail, since there are countless 'white activists' wandering around the South. I'm pretty sick of how whites are free to any harassment, yet if I were to say something like 'there are a lot of blacks in this neighborhood', or soemthing equally arbitrary, that I might be called a racist. Another thing was how in elementary school, I remember the term 'you're so white' was an insult. Why would I feel bad that I'm white? It's stupid.

He is an idiot...The reason he did not receive any negative feedback is simply because of the ignorance of his words. I am sure you realize that their are people like this in both sides of the fence. As much as I was bothered by what he said, the fact that someone would use this as propaganda against "rap & black culture"shows a even greater divide in this country. The search for peace can never come from hate. As we learn about each other, we will also learn to love one another.

I do think he was wrong. There is a huge double standard in this country. But I also think that the comments on the screen where wrong. It read something like "still think blacks like you?" and "Don't support there culture or Rap music". It's time for Racism to stop. Gone should be the days of hate groups like the KKK. And in the same respect gone should be the days of double standards such as awards shows for just one race. We are all made in God's image we are all brothers and sisters in Christ.

for some rediculous reason reverse racism is widley accepted in todays society in by almost every race!!! I firmly believe with all of my heart that racism by anyone is equally wrong nomatter what the situation or from whom it's from. our country (u.s.a.) was wrong for all of its racial segregation and any type of racism from the get go and should have never happened in the first place, but sadly it did. I strongly feel that the biggest mistake that we can make as a society in a whole would be to try to even the playing field (so to speak ) by making it acceptable for any race inlcluding the black race, to say or do anything that would be described as ( racist ) to any other race . Just because white people dominated over black people in the past doesn't make it right to start using ignorant words or anything else for that matter against white people or any other race if the same would hurt or offend them if the same were to be applied to them! Anyone who is willing to behave in this manner is a hippocritt, ignorant, and self serving! I am a white female and when it comes to these issues I have very strong feelings! At one point, I attended an almost totally black student school. Although I did have alot of friends, there were alot of girls who always gave me a very hard time only because I was white! I know first hand how it feels to be predjudiced against and it was horrible! I will never behave in this manner nor will my children be taught to behave in this manner. Even though I was singled out because of the color of my skin on a dailey basis, I will never let that experience turn me to behave the way I was treated!! EVER!!!! People should always treat one another how they want to be treated as corney as that may sound. It is so simple , these rules that we try to teach our children about the way to treat others, not to steal, don't lie, keep our hands to ourselves, treat others how you want to be treated, ect. but for some way we find these rules too hard to follow as adults!! It discusses me horribly. so finally to answer your good question, YES HE IS A RACIST!!!!!!! Not even a reversed racist but a straight up RACIST!!! I'm so glad someone else out there sees this problem too! thank you for not being another ignorant person in today's society. If there were more people like us today, our world would be a much better place for all of us! I know someone else who would agree withus about this too, Bill Cosby. He knows what he is talking about and actually gets called a sellout! Those who say that about him are the exact problems that he referrs to when he tries to educate young black americans ( and yes us white ones too) L.W.

I can't believe I heard what I just heard. This man is not only a racist he is speaking of killing the white man....genocide. If a white person were to say the same things about a black person a war would outbreak, literally. This makes me very angry. I wish a lot more people could see this.

Yes, he's racist, but he like the rest of Americans, he has freedom of speech, so jail time should not happen. He's speaking the same thing that the KKK, Nazis, or a skinhead would say, or has said, He's just singling out one race. Still doesn't make it right.
