hhhmmmm...if you start a conversation with "my friend hates me..." I am thinking she's not really your friend. Friends don't hate their friends. Anyways, tell her that you differences are what makes your relationship more fun. How boring to hang out with people just like you that only like the things you do.

What do you mean you like different things than her? Like movies, clothes, hobbies, what to do and where to go when you hang out? If she became your friend then there was something that she liked about you. Yes, sometimes you become friends with people because of common interests but no one should like the exact same things. That is why we have different people in our life, to learn from and enjoy different things. If she is acting mean you should confront her about it. Tell her that she seems mad at you and that she is really hurting you. I know it is hard because you obviously care about her but you need to care about yourself also because she shouldn't be making you feel this way. Confrontation is hard because you are probably scared of what she is going to say but doubt and wonder is worse so just talk to you her. And regardless of what she says, always be the better person and don't be mean back. I mean, if she is mad at you for a completely ridiculous reason you can be angry but then just remember that you don't need to have this person in your life if you don't want. I never like to give up on people and rule them out but friends should be there to help you and add joy to your life, not make you feel like a bad person. Lastly, regardless of what happens, do not change yourself to cater to her needs. You need to be yourself and stick up for what you believe in. You should never change yourself for someone else just to make them happy because that would be untrue to you and you will never be completely happy that way. Good luck!

There's not much you can do, really. Except realize that throughout your life friends will come and go. Hold on to the good memories of this friendship, but it's now time to move on to new friendships. Consider joining a club or sport at your school... or maybe volunteer or get a part-time job... that's the best way to make new friends. Good luck!

Talk to her. Sit down and tell her truthfully how you feel. If she won't talk to you or she doesn't understand that you can still be good friends and like different things then she really isn't a good friend.

Honey if she dosen't want to be your friend because of what you like then she isn't your friend. You should find friend that like a little of what you like. You might have some things in common and really have a true friend.

its not ur fault she's being mean...maybe she just likes other things and for some reason feels her opinions r better....dont let it get to u, if she wants to be ur friends she'll stop....also maybe try telling her....maybe she doesnt realize it or if she does then find a new friend that wont make u feel bad.

If she only likes you when you are the same then she only wants a clone of herself. Be different and think for yourself.

If she doesn't like you because you have different interests, is she really your friend?
