Cheaper option would be to do buy a wifi card for your laptop (if it doesn't have wifi built in and then use wifi hotspots which are available all over the place, including McDonalds and Starbucks as well as prepay BT OpenZone cards for about £10.

The best way is to find a company or cafe that offers free wi-fi internet. Starbucks for example.

Or check with your mobile phone company. A lot of people just plug their mobile into their laptop and the mobile phone company charges you for online access. But be warned, it's expensive!
