First off, I don't think you are completely the victim in your situation. She may have cheated, but more than likely you left the door open and she was looking for someone to love her. Too many men work thinking that is love and too many women don't see that working is the way men love. I think that you need to at least communicate with your wife to find out what happened, because something did happen in your relationship to open her mind to cheating. It is easy to label someone a cheater and not acknowledge your part in it. If she is the love of your life, you can make it work out. If you truly have been working all of those hours and years, you probably don't even know her and could easily get to know her all over again and rekindle what you initially had. And no, I haven't cheated. *G*

yes, my ex hubby cheated after 21 years; i thought I would die but now (2 1/2 yrs later) I realize it was the best thing that could have happened and I am in a relationship with a man who was cheated on and feels the same way I do about it. Give it time, the right one will come along. It's not easy ,but you deserve happiness.

Yes , you should trust again. You can't punish yourself and other woman for a mistake your wife(ex) made. that way you will never get a suitable partner. It must have been a hard knock to lose your wife after 29 years but you must carry on with your life.

Hey, Minnesota. My sister just got divorced after 31 yrs of marriage. And she lives in Minneapolis. She's good looking and has a dynamight personality. I just don't think she's ready to date yet. Yes, you should trust again. Love is definately worth it. Just remember, keep the woman interested....always.

Yes you should trust again. It was her that lost your trust. Why take it out on the other females for her wrong doing. If everyone that was cheated on had that attitude there would be alot of very unhappy people out in this lonely world.

I think you should forgive her and find out what truly led her to do this. With 29 years invested, you should both want to work through it. The most important thing is to talk and listen.

Maybe if you spent more time with her. Out of the last 6935 days you were at home 988 days. Something to think about anyway.
