Most babies are started on baby cereal at about 4 months.Veggies and Fruits soon after. Be sure to feed the new food for at least 5 days before trying a different one. If you feed too many new foods at once and the baby is allergic to one of them it will be hard to determine which food caused the allergy.

I honestly started feeding my son cereal at 3 months and baby food at 4. by 6 months he didn't have any teeth and would eat a variety of foods (soft, small pieces). we just gradually added new foods. He didn't get his first teeth till a year but it didn't stop him from eating. I have seen people who wait to feed their kids... this one in particular was sad.... a year and a half and chokes on apple sauce. The longer you wait to introduce food, the more likely they will choke becuse their throat and tounge and jaw muscles need no be strengthened. Your son can eat pretty much anything. I would wait on stuff like steak or anything the same texture as steak.

Holy cow! 9 months old and has that many teeth? Feed him soft foods but make sure he still drinks his formula. Milk is good but formula will give him the nutrients he needs.

by that age, my daughter was eating steak, hot dogs, pork chops, or what ever we were having. Just make sure that you cut it into ver very small bites so that he don't choke... now is a good time to start him on his good veggies, and make a big deal out of it when he eats them, that way he will get used to eating them. My daughter loves the baby carrots, cooked where she can hold them, and eat them, and loves to eat broccoli.. Just make a game out of him eating and he will learn to like them...

give him whatever you eat, get him in the habit of eating meals with everyone else. just avoid choking hazards like nuts, hotdogs and grapes (unless they are cut up really small) everything else he can eat. he will love it too.
