I Believe Love of Country stands for Loving what your country Stands for as a Whole. Not anyone Political group. I Love America because: One We Have Freedom Some people only Dream of. Two: We have a STRONG nation Three. Yes America has Problems BUT if you Mess with America you mess with ALL of America Case in Point 9/11 WW2, WW1.

My countrymen, my government, the land. And I would lay my life down for any of those three. The politicians are part of the countrymen.

I would defend my country until my last breath. I think most people feel the same way. That is one of the things that makes our country great. Our beliefs can be so different, but we would still pull together to protect our way of life. I can't give you a specifc order because all of the things you mentioned above is what makes up our country. To destroy one of those would destroy the whole. For me, what it means to love your country is to be willing to preserve every aspect of it, no matter what the cost.

The ideals of america are what are important to me.

Liberty, Truth, Justice, Freedom, and the Pursuit of Happiness are what are important. I think the freedoms that we enjoy, whether they be speech or the ability to practice a faith without persecution are important also and worth dieing for!

I think all TRUE love is within the context of the love of God, that is, truth, justice, being one's brother's and sister's keeper, and so on...but if one's country is run by evil people contrary to your conscience, then the love of God and all that it implies should take precedent.
