I hear about these teams can get paid 10 grand just by playing games in these tournaments. how can I get in on that

Unfortunately you can't just play any game to be in a gaming team for money. Obviously you can start a gaming team for fun but most gaming teams that compete for money play in tournaments sponsored by MLG(major league gaming). The games they play range from Halo 2(xbox), Super Smash Brothers Melee(gc), battlefield 2(pc) and others. It takes alot of dedication and the ability to travel to lesser known local tournaments to get noticed and sponsored to play in events as a team. Check your local video/movie rental stores or mall arcades for a chance to participate in a gaming tournament.

oh man ! u don't konw how these professional gamers are. i too am a gamer not a world class but a professional of course.i go to local game-contests and man it's pretty tough. ametuer gamers are not accepted of course by professionals. to join a gaming group, u pretty need to practice on a gaming pc for at least 14 hours on a pc.

you might be able to post stuff on sportsville.com. it's a site that is supposed to help people organize sports teams and games, but i suppose you could post a video game team if you wanted.
