I have a 50 piece 32 year old Betty Crocker silverware set
that was obtained by my sister-in-law by sending in the
proof of purchases 32 years ago.it's in the orginal case, with the betty crocker seal.my question is does anyone know about antiques and or the vaule if any, of this set.I might be wrong but i think it might be worth alot of $$.i was'nt sure what category to put under.

I did a search online- steak knives from Betty crocker go cheap (6 for 15 bucks).

I would keep searching on e-bay for similar items. Or, go to a local antique dealer- probably the best way.

Usually for something to be considered an antique, it needs to be a minimum of fifty (50) years old.

There are a few ideas that come to mind to get this item appraised. You could post a photo and description on eBay, since they have a way of giving you an estimate of its value. Then if you wish to sell, you can set a reserve amount and put it up for bids. Second, you could take a Polaroid photo to an antique dealer for appraisal.
