Yes,because it will not clog pores, and it goes on a powder but ends up looking like a liquid foundation and it has great cover-up, I use Jane Iredale, which is a powder.,too.

only if you have normal skin. its not worth the price is your skin is oily like mine. it will make your skin shiny and slick, and it'll just sit there like a mask, and wears off! I've actually found a mineral make up line that has TWO different formulations for oily skin, and it works beautifully! and at HALF the price for that over priced bare minerals. Its called Everyday Mineral Make up. I'm getting a set for $48 that has 2 foundations, 1 concealer, 2-3 blushes, 3 eyeshadows, 2 brushes, and a free gift. I would most definately check them out!

I love this stuff and if you take into consideration that this stuff lasts forever, it is actually cheaper...one jar of foundation costs $ 25 and mine has lasted over a year.
You can go on ebay and find sample starter kits pretty cheap, but be very careful reading the item description, make sure you are getting true bare escentuals. You will only get enough for a few applications, but at least you will know if you like it before really investing.
If you decide you like it, go ahead and splurge on a kit, this way you get the brushes you'll need to apply.
ebay is also a very cheep way to try out different color samples before paying full price for a full size item you might not even like.

Oooh, this is a toughie!
I personally have not tried Bare Minerals, but my sister ordered it for herself and our sister-in-law. It worked great for our sister-and-law but not so great for her. She got zits and her face was constantly bright red.
I think it depends on your skin type and how well you respond to any make-up. I've seen pictures of Amie (our sister-in-law) and she looks beautiful! Many of her flaws have 'disappeared.'
I would suggest thinking whether or not you want to take the risk. If your skin responds well to make-up, this will probably be worth the price. If you have problems with make-up and require special types, this may not be the thing for you.

Definitely worth it! I've been using it for over a year... and many of my coworkers have tried it and loved it too. My sister and I are both very prone to acne and have no problems with the make up! Just clean your brushes regularly. If you order from sephora, you can buy just what you need instead of getting recurring shipments from the company directly.

I personally didn't like it. My mom bought some from QVC for her and I to use. I found that it was hard to apply to your face the right way. you can't put too much on or you look too dark, you must use very little. I found that it also dosn't cover much in terms of blemishes or flaws. It also makes your face too glowy or shiny. I feel that my face gets shiny on its own so I don't need a powder toi make my face shinier! For these reasons me and my mom don't like it.
However, if you are a person who doesn't wear makeup then it would be okay to uses because it doesn't do much to improve appearance and goes on very very light.

i have tried it and i love it. you can't even feel the make-up on you and i have real sensitive skin and it works wonderful so for me the price is worth it. if you want to try it i no that sephora will let you try it on in there stores and if you don't like it you will be refunded your money, i think its the same policy on there web site www.sephora.com.

OMG!! it's sooo worth the price! it's not all that expensive but i mean it doesn't clog pores and like EVERYONE says its like the BEST!!! so yeah give it a shot. IF you're uneasy maybe just try like 3 or their products before going out and buying like all your make-up with them!!
