George Bush had been president not quite 8 months before 9/11 I know this because he was inaugurated on January 20, 2001. According to all reports the planning for 9/11 began at least 3 years before that date. This plotting involved members of El Queda with financial support from Osama Bin Laden. To my way of thinking that makes this more between Bill Clinton and Bin Ladin than Bush and Bin Ladin. Perhaps Slick Willie should have been paying more attention to what was happening in the world instead of with the intern and then maybe 9/11 wouldn't have happened.

Osama Bin-Laden master mind the whole thing and i am really sick and tired of stupid uneducated people that would even think that Bush had anything to do with 9/11 and if you want to blame someone here in the USA blame Clinton the big coward didn't even listen to the warnings about the attacks going to happen in the USA and then all the mess of his office term fell in the next Presidents lap and that was Bush.

President Bush took to office in 2000 and innagurated in Jan 2001. You can't blame him for something like 911 that happened just months after he was sworned into office. Osama takes 100% on this one. Someone could argue something about oil industry, but Bush wasn't the only one running country's oil industry.

By a small margin, Osama. He planned and supported the attack.
Bush's responsibility only stems from his culpable negligence. He spent nearly 50% of his time on vacation up until 9/11. It's highly likely that if we had a competent and diligent Commander in Chief in the months prior to 9/11, the attack would have been thwarted. We can only hope that Bush will have to pay for his negligence after his term is up.

We all know it is GW!! The US put Sadam in power. The US sold weapons to Saddam AND Osama. The CIA trained Al Qaida to fight. The US has suppressed opposition to BOTH Saddam and Osama in order to protect them so they can continue to fight the people we don't like.
And then they get pissed off at us, and we get mad because we helped fund crazy terrorists and they turn on us! DUH! Whaddyu think they were going to do, send us a thank you card and a gift certificate for a Shiatzu? Wake up!
