it is all done by ratio....for example for one pound you get .75 of a a euro......................for one pound you get 1.95 dollars [us] either way the pound is stronger and worth more [this is basically ONLY on paper, nothing else is meant by it] the dollar is slightly weaker at the moment but is more than due for a surge back to equal footing.

The euro has ALWAYS been weaker than the pound since it was brought into use.............and can never see it gaining any strength to be honest.

On the international market the British pound has a higher value than the Euro. The cost of living regionally is an entirely different consideration. I'm sure the euro has more purchasing power in Portugal than it does in Paris. And I am certain that things in London cost more than the same items in Liverpool.

It is basically of interest to currency traders. The Pound is stronger means that it is more desirable to hold than the Euro. Inflation and interest rates affect the relative value of currency. If banks are paying higher interest in Great Britain, or if inflation is lower in Great Britain, the Pound is worth relatively more. Higher inflation makes the Euro worth less.
It is really not an issue for an individual unless he has to trade Pounds for Euros, or vice versa, for any reason.

Pound is stronger, meaning that a pound is worth more, which is why you pay less pounds than euros if you buy coffee.

1 pound is equal to $2 and1 Euro is about $1.29. This makes pound the stonger of the three. Francs are I think smaller than Euro.

in the international market, the pound is worth more than a euro.

the value of things varie not by which coin is worth more, but by the cost it takes to produce, manage and transport a product in a certain region.
