Few gypsies in my area (Czech Republic) seem to use contraception. That's why most gypsy couples here have like 8 kids. ;)
I don't know why they don't use contraception. Maybe it's a religious thing or they just really love children. One thing for sure though is that I have never seen any of them with crystal balls.
