i had the same problem, the cramp is due to the muscle of your neck being unable to respire normally, therfore it repires anaerobically producing lactate which cause the cramp.

how to cure this, in the complex mechanism of how your body works, all i can tell you is drink hot drinks like (ginger, mint, green tea ...) this will warm up the area and help blood to flow their much better than before thus reducing the cramp instantly.

I guess you might contract your face and neck muscles too much while you yawn. but if the pain is such that you have trouble breathing you should tell your doctor.
I've never tryed yawning and breathing at the same time tough. I don't think it's possible!

i dont know that is strange. i get it in my tounge its horrible and feels like im going to swallow it.. neve worked out what causes it....

also i get cramp in my toe..

anyone an expert on cramp can you add an answer to mine also?
