It was online last week, or the week before, and the name was leaked out, I was wondering if anyone knew it. Thanx in advance.

It will be called "Orion", the successor to today's space shuttles, and is being designed to take man to the moon and to Mars.

The orion program will be the successor to the shuttle. It is a capsule much like the Apollo moon command module. It will land on the land after the mission and will be reusable.

I think Michael's got it, but for the record, it's not a "shuttle," its just a way to get folks to the Moon.

It doesn't have all the extra missions that the Shuttle's been cursed with, i.e. heavy lift launcher, satellite repair platform, etc.
