I am feeling scared and I am feeling really confused. It's been exactly 10 days since I heard from my boyfriend. He is away on vacation with his best friend, visiting their friend and he is not coming back until 25th September. I know that we kind of agreed that until he comes back, I leave him alone to think about our relationship but I cannot help thinking that he might not call me again as we had an argument before he left? He has not sent me any message at all or email from his trip. Is it normal that when guys are together, they don't make any contact?

It's easy for me to tell you to relax, but you really need to try before you make yourself sick. He's probably having fun or doesn't want to seem "hooked" around his friend. Don't keep trying to contact him, he may think you sound desperate. Do you know the friends' girlfriend? Maybe you can ask her if she's heard from them. I'd just try to keep myself busy with friends or hobbies and try not to think of him. If in fact he returns and doesn't talk to you, then it's for the best...if he doesn't have the respect to call you to let you know he's alright, then you don't need him. Best of luck to you and HUGS!

It sounds like from his words and the agreement you two made that he wants his space for a bit. Also, when there is no contact with a loved one, it is natural for a person to worry about them. In regards to the argument before he left, him wanting no contact with you for a bit could have been a natural or quick reaction on his part. Just give him a little bit of time alone, and things could turn around with the relationship being better than ever.

I guess you have spent the last 10 days worrying about this when you could have been making new friends and having fun. This is just probably intuition so take it for what its worth. I am not sure he is right for you if you haven't gotten at least 1 call so basically don't worry about it. Move on and enjoy life. When he gets back, then you will know but if it doesn't work out be sure and let him know that your life isn't over and there are more important things out there than just him! To yourself be true!!!

For some guys, yes that is normal.
Sometimes they just need a break from their relationship.
Sometimes they just have to get their mind off it, especially if it's been stressful recently.
Sooner or later he will make contact with you though, it may take a while, but it will happen.
When he does contact you or come back from his trip, let him know that you love him, and that you're sorry for the whole argument.

Just keep your head up, things will brighten up for you.

Stop panicking, you have to learn to relax, stop stressing yourself out, you did say that the both of you agreed, you will think about your relationship, so give him the space that he needs, see absence does make the heart grow founder..

leave him alone. its perfectly normal. he is prob relaxing and enjoyin things with his friends.he might not even think about your relationship until he gets back. and dont bug him the day he gets back either give him at least two days to unpack and call you. than just drop him a hello. dont pressure him to much it could backfire on you.

Me and my bf went through the same thing actually, and he wanted some space, and I was afriad he'd break up with me for good, but I gave him his space, and then a week later, he called me.

If you agreed on it prior to him leaving, he's made it clear that he needs time to himself to clear his head. Don't smother him... give him his time and space.

Ever hear of the saying "absence makes the heart fonder"?
