i got an ipod for my birthday and i went to use the itunes on my friends computer cause mine is to old to get itunes on it. then i got a new imac and i want to transfer my ipod to my imac so how do i do that and how do i delete my itunes account on my friends computer?

You can have several authorised computers, so all you really need to do is transfer your songs to your iMac from your iPod (see link choices below) and authorize it. If you choose you can de-authorize your friends computer too. Just look under the "Store" menu in iTunes for Authorize and Deauthorize Computer.

have you tried talking to customer account support? They'll be happy to help you or should be anyway. Good luck with the account transfer.
