I got lucky one day.
It was getting close to graduation, and all the boys were rehearsing to dance with the girl who happened to have the same spot number in gym.
My number came up with the prettiest, smartest girl in the whole school, Janet Handleman (still remember her name, wonder what became of her??).
Everybody was watching me as I awkwardly danced with her, and she was so nice and reassuring, that I felt I was on cloud nine.
Not until I got into the winners circle three times with my racehorse have I since felt so great.

in between classes once I tripped and fell down a long flight of stairs ... rolled all the way down and hit my head at the bottom. everybody around me was laughing hysterically -- strange nobody helped me up!

I did worse than my roommate in every exam in one physics class I took, but my GPA for that class somehow came out slightly higher.
