In my learnings abroad, myself and others were asked our thoughts on this verse and also was told that on our death bed, one could reflect on his past and see a parallel of our meaning and our lives. So, whats your meaning of " In a mind, free of all thoughts and emotions, even the tiger finds no room to insert his fierce claws"

It means you're wasting your time with lightweight forms.
Give muay boran a try some time; it does the job without all the pseudo philosophical mumbo jumbo that really means nothing at the end of the day.

If you don't have any thoughts or emotions, you are dead, so you don't exist for a tiger to insert his claws.

well first ...you have to know what does the TIGER stands for....for me it means FEAR.
If the someone who has lots of knowledge and insights and clean nor pure inside...fear has no place to live.Coz a mind who is clear cannot be conquered by any obstacles to keep on knowing the truth.
