1 gallon = 7.47 ft^3

You have 66.67 ft^3

Since the water is one inch deep, you have one cubic inch of water over every square inch of area. Converting the cubic inch per sq inch to gallons per square inch will give you the gallons per square inch:

(1 cu-in/sq-in)* (1gal/231cu-in) = 0.00433 gal/ sq-in.

Or, if you also want to know the total amount of water over the entire area:

First, convert your dimensional units (ft and inches) into the same unit, by multiplying by a conversion factor. Here, since 1 square foot is 12in x 12in, or 12^2 square inches:

(800 sqft) * (12^2 sq-in/1sqft) = 115200 square inches
*note how the sqft units cancel- this is an easy way to check that you are doing conversions properly

Now, to get the volume of the water, multiply the area times the depth of the water (Volume = L x W x H, Area = L x W, so Volume = Area x H)

Volume = 115200 sq-in * 1 in = 115200 cubic inches, because sq-in = in x in, so in x in x in = in^3

Finally, multiply by a conversion factor to change from cubic inches to gallons. One gallon = 231 cubic inches, so

115200 cubic inches *(1 gal/231cu-in) = 498.7 gallons total

Gallons per square inch would then be the total gallons divided by the total number of square inches:

498.7 gal/115200 sq-in =0.00433 gal/sq-in

well 1/12 ft x 800 sq. ft = 66.6 cubic feet of water

Then you convert cubic feet to cubic meters
35.3146667 cubic feet = 1 cubic meter

Then you convert cubic meters to gallons.
264.1720523 gallons of water is equal to 1 cubic meter of water.

I got = 498.698 gallons, did you?

(p.s. you can probably convert straight from cubic feet to gallons, but I like taking the long route!)
