Factor is not the correct word for what I believe you are supposed to do.

You are combining terms. Use the distributive property to combine the constants associated with a variable as follows:

Un - 1 + .085Un - 1 becomes

Un( 1 + .085) + ( -1 - 1) which becomes

1.085Un - 2

I will leave the second one to you.
