It sounds like he started that argument on purpose. and that he may have something to hide

Personally, I would give it some cooling off time. If you feel that it's over with in your gut then you're probably right. I have been in your shoes and know how you feel. I would just assume that something else made him snap until I found out otherwise. It's natural to have all those things going through your mind. Just make sure you don't point the finger and start accusing unless you have sure proof that is what's happening. I would at least contact him and give him a reasonable time to come back home to work things out. If he refuses or says he will and still does not return then I would end things from there. Just make sure that you trust your gut instincts....they are always right. Good Luck!

someone can only have power over you if you let them. If you want to become an emotional yo-yo, than sit at home and wait to see what he's going to do.
If you want to have control over your life again. Than you need to make up your own mind. Do what you need to bring you happiness.
Because if he's going to leave every time you have a fight. You are going to feel when you are together, that you can't say anything. For fear he'll leave you.
Anyone can say the words "I love you" but it's their actions that speaks volumes. Name calling isn't a way of expressing his love for you. If you have doubts about how this all came to be and think there's something going on. It's your intuition, listen to it. Good luck

if he left then he did it for a reason. if he is cheating on you there is nothing you can do about that and you deserve better than that! almost the same thing happened to my sister only when her husband left he didnt take his rotten mother, and all she did is lie about everything he was doing, ans we are sure she helped plan the whole "fight" so he would have an excuse to leave. all i can say is it takes time to heal a broken heart and i hope to god yours heals, and if he comes back god bless the both of you and i hope everything works out for you, but if not, just try to remember you deserve better then to be kept in the dark about his ongoings. however if he does come back, dont hold this against him it will just make him leave again and then your heartbreak comes back
good luck and i hope everything works out for you

It sounds like a triangle to me ..one you don't want or need to a part of. I think you should bale personally get out of the situation. You can tell him when he grows up you might be available to talk about the relationship, but if he keeps going on and behaving the way he is you are done with him.
Why would you want to be part of him..he calles you names and has a crush on your friend...cooling off time ..make it a long time.

Time to do some serious reality checks with your relationship. This doesn't sound like a typical happy marriage that hit a bump, this sounds like issues that have been around and nobody is dealing with them. Funny thing about issues in a relationship. Whether you want to deal with them or not, you will. Good luck.

I'm sorry that this happened to you. My best guess is that he is with another woman. He planned the fight and his reason to leave. I think you need to start thinking about what comes next. If he comes back, what do you want? Do you really want a life with this man? It sounds like he is very selfish.

The last part made no sense. You need to be more clearer.
He is being a jerk and they are encouraging it. No trust means no marriage, you deserve better then a guy who lets others run his life and who is verbally abusive.
If you have kids, you tell him to come home and take care of them, then you leave. Make it clear to him and his HW that he is getting the kids and you are the one who is going to be free.
