It's really best to leave the diagnosis to the doctor and just try to make her comfortable in the waiting time until then. Some children get diarrhea when teething, and that gives them a diaper rash- but the rash certainly doesn't move down to one of their feet. Treat the fever the way you've been doing, with the Tylenol. If the skin is broken from the rash, get the diaper off the child and let some air and sunlight get to the skin. Diaper rash cream may just irritate her even more, and I found vitamin E, the gel squeezed out of the capsule and onto the skin, was a much better alternative. The idea is to create a barrier between the wetness and her tender skin. The vit E helps with skin healing, so it won't hurt her at all. Mostly air, light, and dry does the best for getting rid of a rash.
It's tough sometimes to tell if they have an ear infection unless you can look inside the ear- something the doc has to do. If she's had a cold or runny nose, it's certainly a good possibility. Sometimes they pull at the ear that hurts, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they just get a fever and really irritable, and will slow down/stop eating. If the ear is blocked, they may prefer not to drink from a bottle as that makes the ear hurt worse. A little warmth, from a cuddle against your chest with the bad ear pressed against you, sometimes helps, as does lying on the bad ear to block out the air movement and noise.
A virus can also give a child or adult a rash, viral rashes usually start on the belly or back and spread from there. But thats not always true. There is a really common one for kids that makes them look like you slapped their little chubby cheeks. None of them are usually a problem and go away all on their own.
The doctor may or may not give you antibiotics for the ear infection. There's evidence and debate in support of either way, and it comes down to trusting your pediatrician and gut instincts. The antibiotics don't really fight the cause of the ear infection, they will just booster the body and prevent another infection from taking hold. It will take about the same amount of time to go away, with or without the antibiotics.
You're already doing what's most important for your daugher. Lots of fluids and lots of TLC are the most important things right now. You don't have to cure all the ills and ails, as long as they learn you are trying and are still there when they need you to be. Love and caring are still some of the best medicine out there. Keep up with the fluids and holding, give the Tylenol, air the rash, and wait to see what your pediatrician has to say about what is going on.

I was always told that a fever can accompany teething so can a rash.... but then my kids are 10 and 8 so that was a long time ago.
Is it a moist hot rash? Or is it dry and scaley? If it's a moist hot rash I'd give her an Aveeno Oatmeal bath, and put an aloe based soothing cream or gel on her. If it's dry and scaley I'd use a cortizone based ointment. You don't want to keep a moist rash, moist, so don't use thick ointments or linaments. A dry and scaley kind of rash can crack and bleed without being properly taken care of. Like eczema or psoriasis. (My youngest has eczema all over if we don't treat it.) Just stick with the Tylenol and keep soft breathable clothes on her. A cool bath will help with the rash as well if you don't have or can't get Aveeno. Good luck!!

Ok, first off, I dont believe that the fever has nothing to do with teething! I am a mother of three and all of my boys got a fever when they were teething. My middle son had a temp of 103 for 4 days. I took him to the doctor and nothing was wrong and he told me that he was probably teething and as soon as the tooth came through the fever would go away. And, a few days later, 4 teeth came in! and the fever was gone. My youngest son got a fever and really bad diahrea everytime he got a tooth. I have heard of babies getting rashes from teething also, so probably thats the problem.

some babies run fever when they are teething and some babies get a rash when they run fever. so the fever is probably caused from teething and the rash from the fever but check with the doctor.

Eczema patients can avoid scratchy fibers for softer ones like bamboo, cotton, or silk, which are gentler on the skin. Opting to buy organic fibers can also be a wise, healthy, and eco-friendly alternative. Learn here https://tr.im/uYf1E

This doesn't sound like only teething, call back and see what you should do. Better safe than sorry.
