Since you are learning the property, write out the step:
5a + 7b - 2 + 3b = 5a + b*(7 + 3) -2
=5a + 10b - 2

etc.

5a+7b-2+3b=5a+10b-2 add all like terms(b with b)and get the answer. 6z-3y+z+5=7z-3y+5 same here.
