Just play with her. She will learn just by being around you. You can read to her and sing her the abc song. Take her for walks and show her different things in Nature. Take her to the Zoo and show her the animals.
Good luck!

Anything really. At that age anything you do is new to them and that's what teaches them about different things. Reading is a good but only if you do it a certain way. It isn't going to do any good having her sitting on your lap while you read the words. Instead, have her on your lap and use excitement, different voices for different characters, point to the pictures and talk to her about them, ect. Singing is great as well. Sing silly songs to her and teach her the words so she can sing along. Make up little dance moves like clapping or spinning as well. Take her to different places and let her explore. Anyway, those are just some ideas :-)

When my youngest son was 17 months old my sister would play counting games with him sometimes in rhyme or by simply taking his fingers and literally counting 1,2,3 etc and then giving him much praise. Now my son is 18 years old and he has always done well in math and he loves it sooooo much. I know this works because I have four children and he was only one my sister did that with and he is the only one that enjoys math over any subject.

loads and it can be so much fun - you could read to her and let her look at the pics as your reading - take her to the parks or out and about and talk to her about what you see. Involve her in as much as you can around you, there are so many educational toys out there as well to help her but its good to interact - I feel they learn from this a lot.
