Like aren't kids and teens trying to act like adults too much. I'm only 14 years old and I have friends already smoke, drink, and some of them already lost there virginity. Boys and girls. It may seem like I hang around the wrong group of people but I have a lot more things in common with them. They say that I'm just scared or I'm missing out and all that but I don't listen to them. I listen to my parents. I know what's right and what's wrong. Kids also look up to the wrong people. Like they look up to athletes, entertainers, like say Scarface or 2pac. My role models are my parents. All kids should look up to there parents and should love and respect them. Some kids now don't respect there mother. They're what brought us to this world. I think my generation needs to realize that were the future. I enjoy being a teenager. I don't want to be an adult. What are you guys' thoughts on kids and teenagers? Kids and Adults can answer.

Not all kids should look up to their parents for some kids parents are druggies and all that bad stuff. I do agree that kids now and days are moving way too fats. They think that all this wrong stuff is ok because it releaves stress, they hear about it, their parents might do it, they see it on tv and video games. All this stuff around us affects most of us kids and we think it is ok.
Thats one reason maybe kids get diseases is coz they have s--. Some kids dont have someone to look up to and some kids blow off their parents. I know I dont always listen to my parents but I do mind what I do. I will not be haveing s-- any time soon nor will I drink and that crap. Kids these days need restrictions. But think when the kids are doing this stuff where are the parents? Parents play a big role in this. They need to learn that tellling their kids wont stop them from doing these awful things.

Dude i totally agree, its like kids today are focused on how they can look more grown up like i see 2nd graders with cell phones! Kidnergartners cussing, my own little sister dancing like the pussy cat dolls!!!!!!!! It's scary the things kids do today, but that is so cool how you look up to your parents, i do too, and i respect them and all my elders even if i disagree with them i respect them. Truth be told i don't want to grow up, i want to cherish my child hood as much as possible, truly i'm a kid at heart and i want to stay like that i don't want to be turning 15 to 40!!!!! No i want to be me and that is just having fun without the drugs, alchohol, sex, and whatever else people do that is totally stupid and ridiculous. I encourage my friends not to do those things, and if they do i don't stop being their friend, my respcet for them goes down, but i'm always there to help and bring them down to our age when they need it....So if it seems as if everyone is growing up faster, they are and i totaly don't like it.....
