Power washing will take it right back to original. Be careful not to go to deep, just enough to remove the grey.

What, exactly, is your question? Are you questioning the existence of grey decking? Do you want your decking to be grey? Are you concerned that your decking has turned grey? Do you want to get new decking that is grey? Give us a hint.

There are decking solutions mainly available in browns, however I have seen blue, green and terracotta. Seek advice fron a supplier.

If you WANT it then use 'tannerised' wood to build - it will go silvery grey in time and doesn't need any kind of painting or preserving. My fences and cladding on raised beds are in tannerised wood and I love the effect.
If you DON'T want it then I suggest paint or creosote or replacement of offending wood.
